Introducing the Microsoft® Office® CorrectAddress® Add-in
White Plains, NY, July 14th, 2006 - Intelligent
Search Technology, Ltd. announces the availability of the Microsoft® Office® Address
Validation Add-In component, using the power of its popular CorrectAddress® (CASS™)
solution for address validation and standardization.
Using the Add-In, users of the popular Microsoft Office suite
of programs, Word, Excel and Publisher can now validate addresses individually
or through batch processing using Address Validation, which is accessible
from the Tools command on the Menu bar in each of the programs.
The Add-In is available for Microsoft Office XP and 2003, and will be available
for the release of Office 2007, due next year.
Addresses can be validated individually in both Word and Publisher
by simply typing an address, highlighting it, and selecting the Add-In
from the Tools command on the Menu bar as shown below.
Addresses can be validated both one at a time or in multiples in
Excel by simply highlighting the rows containing the addresses and
selecting the Add-In from the Tools command on the Menu bar as shown
below.
The Add-In utilizes the power of the Mail-Merge elements of both
Word and Publisher to batch process multiple addresses. Built-in processing
allows the Add-In to detect street address, city, state and zip code fields
from the data sources used for the Merge. As a result of the powerful CorrectAddress
functionality incorporated into the Add-In, validated fields such as Zip+4
and Zip Bar Codes are available to be used for your Merge.
