NameSearch 4.3.2 released with new performance enhancementsTransliteration and Unicode support now available
White Plains, NY Jan. 19, 2011 — Intelligent Search Technology (IST), a QAS company and part of Experian Marketing Services, today released NameSearch® v4.3.2, a new version of NameSearch® which includes cross-platform support for Unicode data input and a library of transliteration routines.
The new edition of NameSearch® features:
- Fuzzy search and matching operations on data submitted in various foreign character sets, such as Cyrillic, Arabic and Hindi
- An improved graphical interface
- SQL Scripter updates
New matching in foreign character sets will allow users to correctly identify matches, regardless of discrepancies due to data variation, sequencing and nicknames, without going through converting data to Latin-based character sets. Additional enhancements are designed to improve the user experience and allow for faster processing.
This release of NameSearch® will be supported on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows, Linux and UNIX systems and is available immediately.
