What input file format does MerlinMerge® SpeedPro accept? MerlinMerge® SpeedPro works with regular text files. Any text file with any delimiters and enclosing characters is a valid input. Almost every application can create text files, so MerlinMerge® SpeedPro can easily work in combination with other applications. Does MerlinMerge® SpeedPro work with databases such as SQL Server, Access etc? MerlinMerge® SpeedPro is able to connect to various databases, but it actually extracts the data and exports it to a text file. The only valid input is a text file. After processing you can import the data back into you database using the import tools of you database vendor. If you require more sophisticated database manipulations, you may be interested in our NameSearch® technology. What is the price of MerlinMerge® SpeedPro? What degree of technical knowledge is required to use MerlinMerge® SpeedPro? You do not need any specific technical knowledge. MerlinMerge® SpeedPro is a graphical user interface program such as Microsoft Word. If you can use Microsoft Word or other Windows-based software programs, you will be able to use MerlinMerge® as well. With MerlinMerge®'s intuitive interface, processing your data is a snap. With a few clicks MerlinMerge® offers the capability to perform merge/purge and deduping operations. In addition MerlinMerge® has professional features that can be used by advanced users. MerlinMerge® SpeedPro is a stand-alone application therefore you cannot call it from within your application. However, our NameSearch® product can be used in such a way. Does MerlinMerge® SpeedPro handle international data? MerlinMerge® SpeedPro can handle international data including foreign personal names, company names, addresses etc. MerlinMerge® SpeedPro comes with several default international services such as International Personal Name, International Corporate Name etc. MerlinMerge® SpeedPro supports all non-double byte character sets. In addition to English, MerlinMerge® SpeedPro works with Spanish, French, Italian etc. MerlinMerge® SpeedPro is currently utilized to process data from all European countries as well as many South American countries. Upon request MerlinMerge® SpeedPro can be customized to handle other specialized or country specific data. At present MerlinMerge® SpeedPro does not provide support for double-byte character sets such as Chinese, Japanese or Korean languages, but in the future we are planning to add this functionality. |
