Senior Software Developer
Design and maintenance of enterprise modules and GUI components for proprietary software suite. Develop new functionalities and, utilizing knowledge of C, VB.NET, ASP.NET, P/SQL and T/SQL, develop and customize related software development kits (SDKs). Design and develop applications facilitating use of SDKs by auto-generating customized high-level source code. Develop and maintain enterprise COBOL applications for IBM Mainframe systems linking to assembler modules and process data sources including VSAM/DB2. Using linked COBOL applications to search through OFAC (Office of Foreign Asset Control) lists, develop and maintain the CICS interface for product used in terrorist name-checking. Perform IBM Mainframe system administration and manage user accounts involving monitoring of user activity, registering new users, and granting resource privileges. Using z/OS systems, responsible for system and software back-up on mainframe as well as product tape releases. Position requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and 2 years' experience in development of enterprise modules and GUI components. Also requires demonstrated expertise programming in C and Java; demonstrated expertise programming in COBOL, VB. NET, and SQL; and demonstrated proficiency with Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server databases. Senior Software Developer/Applications
Design and maintenance of software products, web services used for intelligent searching, duplicate detection, merge/purge operations, and household link determination. Develop enterprise software components and create/maintain web-based applications. Applying C programming and knowledge of search and match functionalities, lead in development of SpeedPro software. Collaborate with developers to gain up-to-date information on clients' software customization needs to improve product design and functionality. Develop product's front-end through creation of reusable GUI components using the .NET framework. Integrate database link functionality into SpeedPro for fast access to Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and MySQL. Develop enterprise applications within NameSearch software suite, including creation of an intelligent database application using JDBC to connect to SQL Server, analyze data, and create customized T-SQL scripts. Participate in quality and performance analysis of company's flagship product, develop benchmark applications, and provide detailed quality reports. Position requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and 2 years' experience in development of enterprise software components.
